Some sites allow you to submit previous published content. However, it is best to make a few changes before you resubmit any content as the search engines will only pick up one of the sites that your article is published on. Always, use a new title and edit the first paragraph of your article, as this will make your article look different from the others.

You may also want to manually submit your articles to the major search engines, instead of waiting for the search engine bots to scan your page. I always manually list my articles on Google, Yahoo and Bing. Also it is a good idea to ping your article – this will list your article on all the major directories. Pingmyblog is a good free site to use.

Another little trick to boost your traffic is to post an Xomblurb on Xomba.  An Xomblurb is a 50 word summary about your article. Make your Xomblurb article title different from your main article title (so to avoid duplicate content). The great thing about an Xomblurb is that it will give you a link back to your main article and you can also earn some Adsense revenue off your Xomblurb at the same time. Also your Xomblurb will be picked up by Google within a matter of hours!

Other sites similar to Xomba where you can review your own articles for free are Digg, Delicious, Reddit and Stumble Upon. However, it must be said an Xomblurb is a much more effective way of getting more traffic to your article (plus you can gain revenue off your adsense ads!). Also you can link your articles (account) to your facebook and twitter accounts.

However, the best tip of all to increase your revenues is to keep writing articles. Don’t waste time constantly checking your article stats. Instead, use this time to produce more quality content. Also experiment with a few paid to write sites and find out which of the sites work best for you. If you keep adding 1 or 2 new articles every day, then you will soon start to notice a gradual increase in your income.
